Blotted Science - The Machinations of Dementia (2007)

Blotted Science is an instrumental extreme metal band headed by Ron Jarzombek (Watchtower, Spastic Ink), bassist Alex Webster (Cannibal Corpse) and drummer Charlie Zeleny (Behold... The Arctopus, Jordan Rudess). They started out under the name Machinations of Dementia, but after the departure of drummer Chris Adler, the band changed their name to Blotted Science.

The Machinations of Dementia is the debut album by the instrumental technical extreme metal band Blotted Science, released September 18, 2007 on guitarist Ron Jarzombek's EclecticElectric label.
The album had been in the making since 2005 but progress stalled when original drummer Chris Adler had to bow out due to commitments with his band Lamb of God; his successor, Derek Roddy (ex-Nile, Hate Eternal), left over "musical differences" after a six month tenure.
According to Ron Jarzombek, "75 percent" of The Machinations of Dementia was written utilizing the 'Circle of 12 Tones', derived from the Twelve-tone technique pioneered by Austrian-born avantgarde composer Arnold Schoenberg in the 1920s.

Apocalyptica is a Finnish metal band from Helsinki, Finland, formed in 1993. The band is composed of classically trained cellists and, since 2003, a drummer. Three of the cellists are graduates of the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Finland. Their music features elements from classical music and neo-classical metal, to symphonic metal and gothic metal.

Tiago Della Vega - Hybrid (2009)

Tiago della Vega grow up in Caxias do Sul- Brazil. At the age of 5 he started learning acoustic guitar, but after a year he realized that the electric guitar was his greatest passion. He started to study electric guitar, practising 14 hours a day. Tiago della Vega played with some bands such as After Dark and Fermatha. At the present he travel around the World playing and doing workshops.
Tiago Della Vega currently holds the title of the Guinness World Records as the fastest guitar player in the world playing "The flight of the bumblebee" by Nikolai Rimsky-Korsakov at 320 bpm.
He plays a custom signature Andrellis 7 string guitar which has 24 frets and a floyd rose tremolo, the Andrellis TDV.

Elias Viljanen

Elias 'E.Vil' Viljanen (born July 8, 1975) is a Finnish musician, known for being the guitarist for Sonata Arctica since 2007. Viljanen joined Sonata Arctica in spring 2007 in order to replace Jani Liimatainen, who left the band in August 2007 to fulfill his civil duties in Finland. The decision was only made official on August 8, 2007, but Elias Viljanen had been known to replace Liimatainen in concerts during the spring and summer tour. Viljanen cites Kiss, Metallica, Slayer, and Whitesnake as his musical influences.

A Real Diamond in the Rough is the twenty-sixth studio album by avant-garde guitarist Buckethead, announced on April 27, 2009 for a May 1 release through the TDRS Music label. The album is dedicated to Buckethead's legal representative, Stan Diamond.
"The Return of Captain EO" is another Disney reference by the artist, this time to the 3-D film Captain EO starring Michael Jackson, who is one of Buckethead's early influences. "Broken Mirror" uses the same drum beat as the first song off of the album Albino Slug, "The Redeem Team."
