Sing-Along Songs for the Damned & Delirious is the second studio album by the Swedish avant-garde metal band Diablo Swing Orchestra. It will be released on September 21, 2009 on Ascendance Records. It was produced by In Flames producer Roberto Laghi at IF Studios in Gothenburg, Sweden. The cover art for the album was designed by Peter Bergting, a Swedish fantasy artist notable for his bestseller graphic novel Gängkrig.

Faith No More

Faith No More is an American rock band from San Francisco, California formed originally as Faith No Man in 1981 by bassist Billy Gould, keyboardist Wade Worthington, frontman Mike Morris and drummer Mike Bordin. The band is best known for combining elements of heavy metal, funk, progressive rock, hip hop, hardcore punk, thrash metal, and jazz, among many others, and have been hailed as an influential rock band.

Buckethead - A Real Diamond In The Rough (2009)

A Real Diamond in the Rough is the twenty-sixth studio album by avant-garde guitarist Buckethead, announced on April 27, 2009 for a May 1 release through the TDRS Music label. The album is dedicated to Buckethead's legal representative, Stan Diamond.
"The Return of Captain EO" is another Disney reference by the artist, this time to the 3-D film Captain EO starring Michael Jackson, who is one of Buckethead's early influences. "Broken Mirror" uses the same drum beat as the first song off of the album Albino Slug, "The Redeem Team."

Diablo Swing Orchestra is a Swedish avant-garde metal band. The band was formed in 2003.The origin of the name of the band is related on their website. The back-story recounts a historically questionable ancestral story beginning in 16th century Sweden. Supposedly, ancestors of the band members performed orchestral works in defiance of the ruling church at the time (possibly in reference to the newly installed protestant Lutheran national church, in power during the mid and late 16th century). The orchestra was forced to go into hiding, performing in secret, with the assistance of oppressed peasants during the era. After years of performing for the pleasure of these peasants, the story claims that the church put a bounty on the performers' lives, and that this bounty was so high that the orchestra knew they would soon be captured, and thus chose to play a spectacular final show before becoming martyred to the church.
While this account is historically unsupported (see Foundation of Modern Sweden) it does provide a backdrop to DSO's eclectic musical style.

Needle in a Slunk Stack is the twenty-eighth studio album by avant-garde guitarist Buckethead. It was announced on September 24th 2009 on TDRSMusic.com, It's name is a play on the popular saying "A Needle in a Hay Stack".
It follows the style of Forensic Follies, as it uses recycled beats and riffs from his previous albums, including Inbred Mountain, The Elephant Man's Alarm Clock, Slaughterhouse on the Prairie, and Island of Lost Minds.
